Right of withdrawal — 14 days

Under Forbrugeraftaleloven you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made here, for any reason at all — including simply not liking the cup when it arrives. You do not have to explain yourself.

No exceptions on this site

The 14-day right does not apply to goods made to a consumer’s specification or clearly personalised. Nothing we sell falls into that category. We do no engraving, no personalisation and no made-to-order work, and that includes the gift sets — a boxed pair of standard mugs is still a standard product. So the full 14 days applies to every item in the shop without exception.

When the 14 days start

  • The period runs from the day you receive the goods, not the day you ordered them.
  • If an order arrives in several parcels, it runs from the day the last parcel arrives.
  • If the 14th day is a Saturday, Sunday or Danish public holiday, it runs to the end of the next working day.

How to withdraw

  1. Tell us within the 14 days. Email support@unikakceramics.shop, call +45 23 76 94 18, or use the standard form below. Any clear statement will do — you do not have to use the form.
  2. Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us, to the address in the form. Keep proof of posting.
  3. We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of proof that you sent them.

Condition of what you send back

You may handle a cup as you would in a shop — unwrap it, look at it, pick it up, see whether the handle fits your hand. You may not use it. A cup that has been drunk from, put through a dishwasher or microwaved has been used, not examined.

  • Please return the item in its original cushioned box. It is designed to protect a cup in transit and a substitute rarely does.
  • If the value of the goods is reduced because they were handled more than necessary, we may deduct that reduction from the refund. We tell you the amount and why, before deducting it.
  • A cup that arrives back broken because it was returned loose in a padded envelope is a reduction in value. Use the box.

What you get back

  • The full price of the goods, including moms.
  • The standard delivery cost we charged you. If you chose a faster or more expensive option, we refund the standard rate, not the upgrade.
  • Refunds go back by the same means you paid, unless you agree otherwise. There is no fee for this.

What you pay

The cost of returning the goods, unless the item was faulty or we sent the wrong thing — in which case we pay, and you should use the right to complain instead, which is a different and longer-running right.
